Server Rules

Please read these rules below very carefully. As a player on Chillpoint you are responsible for knowing and following all the rules. No exceptions will be made for players who have not read the rules. Bending the rules can also be punished. Admins have the final say in whether a player has broken a rule or not. Make sure to read the Suggested Behavior information as well.

No Deathmatching
On Chillpoint there are rules about who you can kill and when. Any other type of kill is called "Deathmatching." This is when you are allowed to kill someone:
- If you had your vehicle taken while you were driving it.
- If you have robbed or rape someone and they shoot back at you, or if they rob or rape you. If your gang member is under fire from someone who raped/robbed them or that they raped/robbed then you may help defend your gang member. (Commonly called revenge kill)
- If you are wanted and being chased by police you may shoot or kill them to defend yourself. If you are state fugitive you may shoot at military chasing you. Police and Military may kill state fugitives. If your gang member is wanted or state fugitive you may help defend them from the police and military.
- If you are a hitman you may kill the person who has a bounty. If you are the person with a bounty you may kill the hitman. Your gang members may defend you from the hitman also.
- If you are a bodyguard and your employer is being threatened.
If you are being deathmatched, DO NOT fight back. Instead, use /kill to respawn and report the person to administrators using the /report <message> command.
No Cheating
This should be obvious. This can include abusing San Andreas, SA:MP or Chillpoint specific bugs. If you are caught cheating on Chillpoint you will be banned forever.
Vehicle Killing Rules
No drivebying. Drivers of cars may not shoot people on foot. Passengers of a vehicle, however, may shoot people on foot as long as it's not deathmatching. Do not use helicopter blades to kill anyone for any reason. Do not park on top of someone. You may, however, hit someone with a car as long as it's not deathmatching.
Do not insult other players
Do not insult, curse at, tease, or make offensive comments towards other members either in main chat, in PMs, in gang chat, forums, IRC, or anywhere else. No racist, sexist, or homophobic remarks will be permitted on the server, especially when directed at other users.
Speak English
We speak English here. You can use /pm to talk to people in other languages.
Turf War Rules
- You may not enter a turf war to rape, rob, or interfere with the fighting
- Police, Military, and Hitmen may enter turfs to take care of their jobs, but must exit as soon as possible
Vote System Abuse
Use voting only as a last resort to punish a player in-game. Only use this on people who are constantly breaking rules, like cheaters or death matchers. Do not use the vote system because you are mad at someone or they have broken one small rule. All votes are logged and abusing the system may result in a ban, so make sure you are vote-jailing or vote-kicking someone for the right reason. The best way to use this system is with common sense.
Admins
If an admin tells you to stop doing something you stop. Even if you aren't breaking a rule. The rules are here as a ground work for the server. That doesn't mean you can do anything and everything that's not on the rules. Use common sense and listen to the admins. They can ban anyone they want for anything they want. This is not your server, and the admins do not have to listen to anything you say. The admins have the final say in anything they want. If an admin says something about rules or a player's punishment then the discussion is over. If you have a problem with this admins will not care.
